“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also abounds through Christ.”

II Corinthians 1:3-5

In Finding Hope, we as a team are hoping to bring a sense of hope and peace to those who are going through the loss of a loved one. We do this by putting our focus on the Word of God. We also do this by being there for each other. We are never meant to go through pain and suffering on our own. We believe when we focus on the promises of God and on being thankful for His many blessings, it brings faith, and yes, even joy, back into our lives.

Remember, we are just passing through the life that we are living right now — we are just visiting. Our home is in Heaven, where God has prepared a place for us. We need to keep our focus there.

A Biblical Approach to Grieving

by Pastor Mark Avila

“You have turned my mourning into joyful dancing. You have taken away my clothes of mourning and clothed me with joy...”

Psalm 30:11

Pastor Phil Albert

The pastor behind our Finding Hope Ministry, as well as our Men’s Ministry, Vintage Ministry, and Care Team, is our very own Phil Albert.

Never Alone Widows is a ministry aimed at providing comfort and healing through Christ for Christian widows who have experienced the grief of losing their husband. Our prayer is to be able to provide long-term fellowship with one another, while seeking the Lord and reading the promises and truth of His Word together.

The Never Alone Widows Ministry will be meeting once a month at the church campus.

Please, contact our front office for more information or you can sign-up for the group below.
