Born in Pomona, California into a Southern Baptist pastor's family in 1968. Chris Fraley was steeped into a life of abundant ministry. As he grew up, his family moved from California to Texas and back again, all the while serving the church body. At the age of 19, while attending California Baptist College, Chris heard the call into the ministry. He began by serving as a youth pastor under his father at the First Southern Baptist Church in Banning. Soon following, he married his high school sweetheart, Wendi. They now have three grown children and two grandchildren.

 In 1996 Chris took correspondence classes through Calvary Chapel Bible College. It was then that he sensed that God wanted him to plant a Calvary Chapel. After serving ten years in youth ministry, he and his wife planted Wildwood Christian Fellowship in Yucaipa, California in 1998. He soon after affiliated with Calvary Chapel and has brought the light of Jesus to the valley of Yucaipa for the past 27 years.
